Dear Ultimate Community,
I’m excited to personally introduce myself as the new Director of The Ultimate Foundation! As a past supporter, you know the powerful of ultimate – and I’m honored to help grow its.
Ultimate has shaped my life. I started playing at age 12, biking to local pickup games in Carrboro, NC. Ten years later, I helped launch a new Learn to Play program on that same field with Triangle Ultimate. Today, that program continues as a growing national initiative.
Those early experiences showed me how crucial access is – to the sport, to fields, and to a welcoming community. My “why” is simple: I want every kid to experience the joy and growth that ultimate offers. That means breaking down the barriers keeping too many on the sidelines.
There’s a national movement focused on making youth sports more accessible and equitable. The Ultimate Foundation is proud to lead the charge by supporting efforts to:
- Increase youth participation.
- Eliminate access barriers
- Build inclusive environments.
You can learn more in our 2024 Impact Report (above).
But there’s much more to do. With your continued support, we can grow ultimate and make it accessible to every kid who wants to play.
I’m eager to connect with all of you – whether to talk, collaborate, or explore giving options like workplace matching, donor-advised funds, or legacy gifts. Visit our new donation page or just reach out directly.
Thank you for being a vital part of the ultimate community. I can’t wait to see what we’ll build together.
Warmly,
Tristan Green
Director, The Ultimate Foundation
