As we reach the midpoint of 2025, I wanted to take a moment to share an update on the tangible momentum we’re building at The Ultimate Foundation. The college ultimate community’s generosity fueled the 2025 USA Ultimate College Championships Fundraising Challenge, where over 150 supporters contributed more than $10,000. This collective effort supported both the Ultimate Foundation’s mission and helped 12 college teams secure custom tents and flags for next season. It was a powerful display of community in action!

“The USA Ultimate Youth Growth Grant was a true catalyst for Take the Field,” shared Lauren Fayn, Executive Director of Triangle Ultimate. “It enabled us to move from planning into program implementation—recruiting and compensating clinic facilitators, securing field space, developing curriculum, and purchasing program gear. These elements simply wouldn’t have been possible without this support.”

Today’s Donor Spotlight features Delrico Johnson. In 2019, Delrico raised over $3,000 to assist black, indigenous and people of color (BIPOC) in participating on U.S. National Teams. His efforts inspired the creation of the Delrico Johnson Fund to provide membership support for BIPOC in ultimate.
