Last week was Spring Break for public schools in Georgia, and the Boys & Girls Clubs of America used this gap in school as an opportunity for fun and enrichment.  On April 4th, more than one hundred youth from Boys and Girls Clubs across Georgia participated in a day of sport where different organizations could teach skills and lead games.

USA Ultimate was proud to team up with leaders from the Ultimate Foundation, Atlanta Flying Disc Club, and Georgia Ultimate to run an activity where kids could try out ultimate for the first time! Not only did we get to introduce youth to the sport, but USA Ultimate also provided each club with a Learn to Play kit so youth at their clubs could continue playing beyond that day.

We are grateful to the Boys & Girls Clubs of America and the Boys & Girls Club of Metro Atlanta for inviting us to this event, and this is just the beginning! As of April 2024, USA Ultimate is now a verified provider of the Boys and Girls Club of America for Ultimate. Clubs in the United States now have access to online instruction and free equipment to help grow the sport.
