At The Ultimate Foundation, we believe every young person deserves the chance to experience the joy and camaraderie of ultimate frisbee. That’s why we’re thrilled to launch First Pass Free Fundraiser to support bringing ultimate to more kids across the country!
The First Pass Free Fundraiser directly funds USA Ultimate New Start Grants, providing essential equipment kits (discs, cones, curriculum, and marketing materials) to passionate schools, youth-serving organizations, and community members eager to build new ultimate programs.
Every $90 in donations funds one more New Start Grant, directly investing in:
- ACCESS: Creating opportunities for youth who might never otherwise play.
- GROWTH: Supporting the organic expansion of ultimate at the grassroots level.
- EMPOWERMENT: Equipping community leaders to build thriving local programs.
- INCLUSION: Prioritizing initiatives that engage girls and diverse communities.
Did you know that in 2024, USA Ultimate received 250 applications for New Start Grants but was only able to fund 75? The goal of “First Pass Free” is simple: to be able to say “YES!” to every deserving New Start Grant application.
